An exclusive performance can be expected from Cold Cave. They’re back 10 years later for an exclusive performance at Grauzone 2024. Cold Cave, led by musician and writer Wesley Eisold, emerged from hardcore punk roots in bands like American Nightmare and Some Girls. Their extensive catalog traverses Darkwave and Synth-Pop, earning them recognition at venues like The Getty and alongside Nine Inch Nails, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and Sonic Youth.

Not to be missed for dark and cold wave  fans is the Turkish duo She Past Away. The Turkish post-punk sensation making their long-awaited debut at Grauzone 2024. With their reimagined 80s sound, She Past Away combines the signature guitar tones of the post-punk era with minimalist Turkish poetry. Founded in 2006 in Bursa by Volkan Caner (vocalist and guitarist) and İdris Akbulut (Bass guitar), She Past Away has cultivated a unique dark wave musical style rooted in post-punk, complemented by their gothic image.

More darkwave comes from the California band Harsh Symmetry. Harsh Symmetry is the brainchild of California-based musician Julian Sharwarko, a synthesizer-driven solo project. Drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of 80s post-punk and new wave, their music seamlessly weaves in contemporary elements from dark wave and minimal wave genres. Harsh Symmetry's sound is a refreshing blend of nostalgia and modernity, inviting you to dance to their infectious beats.

Guitar sounds come from the Berlin based act The Underground Youth and based in Berlin. They’re back with the release of their latest album, "Nostalgia's Glass." Influenced by post-punk and bands like Brian Jonestown Massacre and The Velvet Underground and back at Grauzone since 2017 to captivate the audience once again.

Even rougher guitar violence comes from the brand-new band Cruush from Manchester. Drawing inspiration from shoegaze pioneers like Slowdive, Cruush offers a fresh take on Manchester's indie scene.

Bestial Mouths is the brainchild of Singer Lynette Cerezo with extraordinary vocals and  a diverse range of genre influences, spanning goth, industrial, post-punk, New Wave, noise, metal, and more. They weave a sonic tapestry using a combination of live acoustic and electronic drums, along with analog synthesizers. Something not to be missed.

More dark sounds come from Skemer, the Belgian dark electro duo set to return to Grauzone in 2024 after their first electrifying performance in 2020. Kim Peers and Mathieu Vandekerckhove, guitarist of post-metal band Amenra (who also performed Grauzone in 2022). They mix postpunk and haunting darkwave. Skemer is back with their second album ‘’TOASTS & SENTIMENTS’’.

Additionally, Kim Peers will do a DJ Set. Expect a mesmerizing set with music as postpuck, wave and techno.

The 2nd DJ is Belgium DJ Graftak. A spellbinding DJ making his debut appearance in the Netherlands at Grauzone 2024. Hailing from the renowned Drag Me to Hell parties, same as Kim Peers, DJ Graftak has carved his name into the European music scene, captivating audiences with his electrifying blend of darkwave, electro, EBM, and hard techno.

Prepare to be ensnared in the snake pit of his music, where dark beats and irresistible rhythms await. Don't miss this exhilarating debut performance at Grauzone 2024. More acts, DJ’s, films, performances and art will be announced soon
